Born May 8, 1894, in Howard County, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Grau. She was married Sept. 30, 1917, to John S. Durr, who survives. She was a member of Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church, past president of the Women's Society and a member of the Prayer Circle.
