Read More	Married Gottlob Launer on August 4, 1890 at Fremont, Nebr. by a County Judge. ______ The Daily Telegram (Columbus, Nebr.), December 31, 1941, p. 5, col. 3 Mrs. Launer, 75, Dies After Week Illness Funeral Services Friday For Mother of City Councilman Mrs. Rosa Launer, 75, well-known Columbus matron, died at 4 a.m. today at Lutheran hospital after a one week illness. Although up and around the house each she suffered a relapse yesterday and was taken to the hospital. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jugenheimer, she was born April 3, 1866, at Washington, Ia., and in 1888 moved to Fremont with her parents. The following year her marriage to Gottlieb Launer took place. After their marriage they continued to reside in Fremont, later moving to Hooper, and in 1900 to Columbus. Mr. Launer died Jan. 3, 1924 and for the past few years Mrs. Launer has made her home with her son, Councilman George Launer at 866 Twenty-sixth avenue. A devout member of the Trinity Lutheran church, she took active part in church affairs and was a member of the Ladies Aid society. Surviving are two sons, Edward R. of Omaha, and George W.; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and three brothers, Oscar Jugenheimer of Washington, Ia.; Robert Jugenheimer of Sigourney, Ia., and Paul Jugenheimer of Davenport, Ia. A daughter, three brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran church with Rev. Herman H. Goede, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Ridge cemetery in Fremont. The body will lie in state at the Gass Funeral home tomorrow morning and will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Friday where it will lie in state until the hour of the service. ____ January 3, 1942, p. 5, col. 3 & 4 Launer Funeral Friday – Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Launer, 75, well-known Columbus matron who died Wednesday at Lutheran hospital after a one week illness, were held at 1 p.m. yesterday at Trinity Lutheran church. Rev. Herman H. Goede, pastor, officiated, and burial was in Ridge cemetery in Fremont. Pallbearers were George Engel, William Beecroft, Vivian Brian, Herbert F.
