Read More	Sabetha Herald, Sabetha, KS - Thur, 23 Jan 1919 Mrs. Rosa Ellen Davisson, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. (deceased) George Sperline, was born in the Rock Creek neighborhood December 5, 1883 where she grew to young womanhood, was married to Wilbur R. Davisson January 17, 1907 and for five years thereafter they lived on a farm northeast of Sabetha. In 1912 they moved to Wenatchee, Wash., where they were engaged in fruit growing. In August 1917 they came to Sabetha, where Mr. Davisson engaged in business. After the death of her mother one year ago, the Davissons moved into the residence of her father, Mr. Sperline, where besides caring for her own household she assisted in making a comfortable home for her father who at this time is visiting his children in Wenatchee, Wash. Mrs. Davisson became a member of the church of the Brethren when 9 years of age and retained her membership until the time of her death and expressed a marked degree of faith and trust in her Savior. After a lingering illness of several weeks, bearing her affliction with patience, it was found necessary for her to undergo an operation. She expressed the thought to her husband who accompanied her to Kansas City, that the end might not be far away. All that kind hands could do for her comfort was done. Thursday evening, January 16, at 10 minutes before 5 o'clock she passed quietly away in a peaceful sleep, at Grace Hospital, Kansas City. Besides her husband and four children, two boys and two girls, she is survived by her father, three brothers and two sisters, and a large circle of other relatives and friends to mourn her untimely death. Her age was 35 years, 1 month and 11 days. The names of the brothers and sisters who survive are John C. and Albert R. Sperline and Mrs. Sarah Racus all of Wenatchee, Wash.; George E. Sperline and Mrs. Roy Davisson of Sabetha, Kas. Funeral services were held at the Church of the Brethren Sunday, January 19, at 2 p.m. conducted by R. A. Yoder assisted by H. D. Bowman of Rock Creek.
