Adolph Lillich, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ona Thierolf, Alvin Thierolf, Wm. Hansen, Dale Thierolf, Paul Thierolf and Ernie Grosskop. Rosa Thierolf, eldest daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina Stull Thierolf, was born at Plattsmouth on Nov. 11, 1881. She was baptized in infancy in the Lutheran Church. In January 1900, she moved with her parents to Star in Holt County. She served as postmistress for nine years at Star. In December 1909 she moved with her parents to Creighton. On June 1, 1910 she was united in marriage to Louie Weber at the John Weber home in the Eden Valley community. They established their first home on a farm east of Creighton. Because of the illness of her husband they moved into Creighton in the spring of 1918. Mr. Weber passed away Dec. 29, 1919. No children were born to them, but a niece, Hazel Thierolf, made her home with her for a number of years. She then lived with her widowed mother and cared for her until her passing. Since 1940 she and her brother George Thierolf had made their home together. Mrs. Weber had been in failing health for about six years. The last three years she was an invalid, being cared for in the L.A. Hansen home by her brother, George and sister, Mrs. Hansen. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, Matie and a brother, Ona. Surviving are two brothers, George of Creighton and Albert of Compton, Calif. and two sisters, Mrs. L.A.
