The funeral of Mrs. Clouser will be held at the Methodist Episcopal church in Windfall at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. S. Newcomb in charge and burial will be in Brookside cemetery...The death of Mrs. Rosanna Jane Clouser, 84, took place at the home of her son, William, east of Windfall at 4:00 o'clock Sunday morning and was sudden. Mrs. Clouser suffered a severe attach of asthma and heart trouble about four months ago, but apparently fully recovered and was able to be up and around as usual. Saturday night she complained of a pain in her right side in the region of the heart, she retired and rested well until about 3:30 o'clock Sunday morning when she summoned the members of the family stating she was suffering with a pain in the heart. Before a doctor could reach her side she had passed away. Beside the son William, she is survived by two other sons, John C. (sic) Clouser of La Fontaine and Benjamin Clouser of Modoc. She is also survived by a number of grand-children and great-grandchildren. Rosanna Clouser was born in Ohio, March 3, 1844, a daughter of Samuel and Katherine Gill and in 1861 was united in marriage to Amos Clouser, whose death occurred several years ago. She was a fine type of womanhood and a woman with many friends. For years she had been a devout member of the Windfall Methodist church and was a woman who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
