For many years, Mr. Crandall was an employe of the county highway department, retiring several years ago to live at their present address, 504 Sterling avenue, the old home of Mrs. Crandall's family. They have one son, Lloyd Crandall, and two grandsons, Robert J. and Bill Crandall. The former is serving with the Army Air forces and the latter resides in Hollywood. She had been in failing health. Born on her father's ranch, which was located on the site of the San Bernardino Air Force base, Mrs. Crandall married the late Charles Milan Crandall, rancher and at one time an employe of the county highway department, in 1894. She leaves a son, Lloyd Crandall, of San Bernardino; two grandsons, Bobbie Gene and Billy Crandall, both of Hollywood; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Herrington, of San Bernardino. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mark B. Shaw Memorial chapel, and will be concluded at the family plot in City Cemetery.
