On her 21st birthday she was united in marriage to Mr William Albert McGregor. To the union were born four children, three of whom, Gertrude, Harold and Roy, survive. Read More	1918, Friday May 3, The Almonte Gazette front page Mrs Wm A. McGregor Rose Annie Tegerdine was born in Almonte, Sept 20th, 1888, and departed this life April 30, 1918. On her 21st birthday she was united in marriage to Mr William Albert McGregor. To the union were born four children, three of whom, Gertrude, Harold and Roy, survive. The youngest, Clarence Arthur, died on the 28th of last January. Besides her husband, a brother, William, in Bassano, Alta, and a sister, Lillian, who has during the past year, with great devotion, helped care for sister, survive. The sincere sympathy of many friends goes out to these sorrowing ones. The funeral services, conducted by Rev McCune, were held at the family home on Euphemia St. this (Thursday) afternoon, and interment took place in the 8th line cemetery. Early in her 'teens Mr McGregor confessed Christ as her Lord and Saviour and united with the Baptist church. Later in her life she united the Reformed Presbyterian church, of which her husband is a member. Her illness was of long duration and she endured with great patience and fortitude. Her faith in Christ and comforted by promises from God's word that she often repeated made the closing hours of her life easy and peaceful and Tuesday evening at 9.40 weary and worn out in body she quietly fell asleep in Christ.
