Description	:	Mrs. Rose Tyler Laid to Rest Here Tuesday Funeral services were conducted Tuesday for Mrs. Rose Tyler, who passed away suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. August Tikalsky, in Verdigre April 7 at the age of 91. Services were held at the chapel at Verdigre at 2:15 and at 3:00 at the First Methodist church in Creighton, with the Rev. H.F. Beebe, pastor, officiating. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery by the side of her husband. Pallbearers were Elwin Tyler, Harold Tyler, Max Tyler, Francis Montgomery, Muriel Raff and Waymond Finke. Rose Brooks was born Aug. 16, 1859 in Madison county, Ohio. At an early age she moved to Kentucky with her parents, where she was later married to Charles M. Tyler on May 8, 1887. She lived in Kentucky until October of 1895, when the family moved by covered wagon to a farm 12 miles west of Creighton where she lived until the death of her husband on Sept. 2, 1918. Since her husband's death, she had lived with her children. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two children, Daniel, who died May 11, 1937 and Mrs. W.J. (Cynthia) Osborn, who died Oct. 8, 1942. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. August (Ann) Tikalsky of Verdigre and Mrs. John (Mary) Carpenter of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sons, William and Howard of Creighton and Charles of Oxnard, Calif.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
