The marriage was blessed by Rev. E. J. Connelly during a nuptial mass. The formal witnesses to the marriage were Miss Theresa Burkey, sister of the bride, and Mr. Jeremiah Counihan, of Frostburg. The marriage was blessed by Rev. E. J. Connelly during a nuptial mass. The formal witnesses to the marriage were Miss Theresa Burkey, sister of the bride, and Mr. Jeremiah Counihan, of Frostburg. The ladies were gowned in handsome costumes of Paris mouseline. Mattingly and Miss Frances Mattingly, Bedford, Pa., Miss Sadie Logsdon, Connellsville, Pa., Mrs. Gallagher and Mrs. Beemer, Pittsburg, and Mr. Thomas Burkey, of Pittsburg. Mr. Logsdon is a son of Mr. Wm. Logsdon, of Mt. Savage. His bride is a daughter of Mr. Augustine Burkey. Both of these young people are popular with large circles throughout the county. The will make their home at Midland." Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Mon 24 Feb 1964: "MRS. AUGUSTINE LOGSDON-Mrs. Rose F. Logsdon, 80, of National Highway, LaVale, died Saturday at Allegany County Infirmary. Born in Corriganville, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Augustine Burkey. Her husband, Augustine Logsdon, preceded her in death. Mrs. Logsdon was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the sodality of the church and the League of the Little Flower. She is survived by three sons, Joseph A. Logsdon, city: William F. Logsdon, Westminster, and Raymond J. Logsdon, Hyattsville; two daughters, Mrs. Regina McGaughty, Baltimore, and Mrs. Agnes Rhodes, Buchannan, W. Va.: one sister, Mrs. Margaret Blake, city: eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. The sodality will recite the Rosary there today 7:30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church and interment will be in the church cemetery."
