Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Neumann were held on Friday afternoon from the Federated church at 2 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Basil Anderson. A large assemblage of relatives and friends gathered to pay a final tribute to the deceased woman. The remains were interred in Greenwood cemetery. Mrs. Neumann died at McCall, Idaho the previous Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ferne Strong, following a several weeks illness. Mrs. Neumann died at McCall, Idaho the previous Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ferne Strong, following a several weeks illness. Rose Louise Gratz was born at Stitzer, Wis. on July 17, 1864 and departed this life at McCall, Idaho on December 28, 1940 at the age of 76 years, five months and 11 days. She was confirmed in the Lutheran church in early life and in later years united with the Congregational church. She was married to Hugo A. Neumann on November 11, 1889 at Plum Valley, Nebr. To this union three children were born. They resided on a farm south of Center until the death of her husband in 1915, after which she moved to Center. The past several years she had made her home with her daughter at McCall, Idaho. She leaves to mourn three children; Floyd L. of Creighton, LeRoy F. of Fremont and Mrs. Fern Strong of McCall, Idaho. Three stepchildren, Alvin Neumann of Center, Mrs. Lenna Copper of Niobrara and Herman Neumann of Cambridge, Ill; 17 grandchildren, one sister, two brothers of Stitzer, Wis and other relatives also survive. One stepdaughter, Mrs. Fannie Gillogly, preceded her in death. Six grandsons, Max Copper, Glen Gillogly, Lloyd, Melvin and Jewell Neumann and Joe Ehrenberg served as casket carrier.
