On Tuesday; January 28, 1947, she was united in marriage to Edwin Wacha at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in rural Toledo, Iowa. Together they farmed for fifty years east of Toledo, Iowa on their Century Farm, until 1997 when they retired and moved to town. Read More	* IN LOVING MEMORY OF ** Rose Marie (Zmolek) Wacha was born on Sunday; October 7, 1923 in rural Toledo; Tama County, Iowa. She was the daughter of: Peter and Mary (Dvorak) Zmolek. On Tuesday; January 28, 1947, she was united in marriage to Edwin Wacha at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in rural Toledo, Iowa. Together they farmed for fifty years east of Toledo, Iowa on their Century Farm, until 1997 when they retired and moved to town. Rose was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Tama; Tama County, Iowa where she was involved in KD Lodge and the CCW. Rose enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing and quilting. She also liked baking and cake decorating. Rose Marie (Zmolek) Wacha, age: 89, passed away on Saturday; November 17, 2012 at the Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama, Iowa surrounded by her family. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her five children: Duane (Carol) Wacha of Newton; Jasper County, Iowa, Dennis (Jackie) Wacha of Montour; Tama County, Iowa, Diane (Marty) Kucera of Kansas City; Wyandotte County, Missouri, Donna (Craig) Fish of Toledo, Iowa and Dallas (Shelly) Wacha of Sugar Land; Fort Bend County, Texas. Her twelve grandchildren and her thirteen great-grandchildren. Her siblings: Raymond (Mary) Zmolek of Perry; Dallas County, Iowa, Dorothy Zmolek of Waterloo; Black Hawk County, Iowa and her one brother-in-law: Dale Green of Cedar Rapids; Linn County, Iowa. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband: Edwin in 2011; her one brother: Stanley Zmolek and her one sister: Rita Green. May they rest in peace. May God bless her memory and give strength to those that mourn. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday; November 19, 2012 at the Kruse~Phillips Funeral Home in Tama, Iowa with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday; November 20, 2012 at the Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Tama, Iowa with Father Michael Mescher and Father David Kucera as concelebrants. Interment will be at the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Vining; Tama County, Iowa.
