Norman Paul Babcock officiating. Burial was in Red Butte cemetery. Mrs. Crosby had suffered for several years from a heart ailment, complicated recently by a rare disease known as purpura, the cause of which is as yet unknown, and was taken to Colorado General Hospital last week upon the suggestion of Dr. W. H. Twining. At first she showed some improvement, but passed away on Sunday, March 5th. Mrs. Crosby's maiden name was Rose Walthen. She was born in Aspen on January 31st, 1902. She attended the Aspen schools and was graduated from Aspen High School in 1922. She is survived by her husband, Tom Crosby, and two children, Willadene, age 13, and Tom, Jr., age 5 . Her mother, Mrs. Mary Walthen; a sister, Mrs. Harold Dwyer, of Aspen, and a brother, Charles Walthen of Butte, Mont., survive her also.
