Description	:	Rose Susan Holton, 90, of rural Le Mars died Friday, February 2, 1996, at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Holton, the former Rose Konz, was born April 5, 1905, in Granville, the daughter of John and Cecelia Plathe Konze. She grew up in Granville and attended St. Joseph's parochial school there. She married Joseph Holton January 13, 1936 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Granville. The couple farmed their entire lives in the Le Mars area. Read More	Rose Susan Holton, 90, of rural Le Mars died Friday, February 2, 1996, at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Holton, the former Rose Konz, was born April 5, 1905, in Granville, the daughter of John and Cecelia Plathe Konze. She grew up in Granville and attended St. Joseph's parochial school there. She married Joseph Holton January 13, 1936 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Granville. The couple farmed their entire lives in the Le Mars area. Mrs. Holton was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church and the Altar Society in Merrill. Survivors include her husband, Joseph, two sons and their wives, Jack and Patrick; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Wolf and Mrs. Martha Kriege, both of Remsen; a brother, Robert Konz of Le Mars; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in deah by her parents; a son, Ronald in infancy; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Their; and six brothers: Peter, George, Bernard, Sylvester, Raymond, and Albert Konz.
