Description	:	THE DUNLAP (IOWA) REPORTER DATED MARCH 23, 1978: "Rosella Holihan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Holihan was born on a farm west of Dunlap June 22, 1897 and passed away at the Dunlap Care Center Thursday, March 9, 1978. The earlier part of her life was spent around Dunlap as a telephone operator and school teacher. Following the death of her parents she moved to Omaha where she worked as a secretary, Red Cross worker, A.R.R.P. and was very interested in social work. The earlier part of her life was spent around Dunlap as a telephone operator and school teacher. Following the death of her parents she moved to Omaha where she worked as a secretary, Red Cross worker, A.R.R.P. and was very interested in social work. Rosella is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mayme Madison of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Nellie Weber of Dunlap and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, Mrs. Julia Weber, and an infant brother. Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dunlap Monday, March 13, 1978. Rev. Adam Reisz officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service. Lector was John Heller and altar boys were Mark and Larry Klein and Don and Tim Weber. Pallbearers were Glen Kendall of Omaha, Edwin Rethmeier and Robert Hemmingsen both of Council Bluffs, Ray Weber, Earl Weber and Robert Weber of Dunlap. Interment was made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Dunlap. White Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
