Homilist will be Rosemary’s nephew Fr. James Bruch. Con-Celebrant will be Fr. Steven Brodersen. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Carroll Catholic Daughters of the America’s will form an honor guard for the funeral mass. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, and will continue until the time of the funeral mass. The Carroll Catholic Daughters of the Americas will pray a Rosary at 10 a.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Rosemary Bruch, daughter of Joseph Sr. and Anna (Hoelker) Bruch was born on December 11, 1920 on the family farm southeast of Mt. Carmel, Iowa. She attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School. Rosemary made her home on the family farm with her brother, Edwin, and cared for their parents until their deaths. She continued to help Edwin on the farm until his death in 2005. In 2006 Rosemary moved to Orchard View in Carroll, and in 2011 she became a resident of Hawkeye Care Center. Rosemary’s faith was very important to her. She was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish, and a 65 year member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She loved the farm, her flowers, and she always had a large garden, she also enjoyed raising her chickens and was known to be a very good cook. Survivors include one sister, Laura Tauber of Las Vegas, Nevada, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers: Lawrence Bruch, Arthur Bruch Sr., Julian Bruch, Joseph Bruch Jr., Edwin Bruch, Carl Bruch, and the Rev. Walter Bruch; two sisters Elizabeth Vonnahme, and Sr. Dolores Bruch, FSPA.
