Description	:	Rosemary "Rosie" Catherine Hauck was born December 30, 1930 at Hoven, SD to Joseph and Veronica (Frost) Kaiser. She was baptized in Saint Anthony's Church at Hoven. Rosie attended grade school at St. Anthony's, and high school at Hoven High School, graduating in 1950. She moved to Rapid City with her family in 1951. She married Donald Hauck on June 4, 1952 at Rapid City, South Dakota. During the Korean Conflict she followed her husband to several Air Force Bases. Read More	Rosemary "Rosie" Catherine Hauck was born December 30, 1930 at Hoven, SD to Joseph and Veronica (Frost) Kaiser. She was baptized in Saint Anthony's Church at Hoven. Rosie attended grade school at St. Anthony's, and high school at Hoven High School, graduating in 1950. She moved to Rapid City with her family in 1951. She married Donald Hauck on June 4, 1952 at Rapid City, South Dakota. During the Korean Conflict she followed her husband to several Air Force Bases. After four years of her husband's military service they moved back to Rapid City. The couple moved to Gettysburg and then to Sioux Falls where her husband was employed by North Western Bell. While at Gettysburg, Rosie taught CCD classes for 7 years, was president of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was president of the PTA. They moved to Watertown in 1969 and Rosie was employed at Herberger's in Watertown for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church for 38 years. She was also an avid bowler and loved working crossword puzzles and reading. Rosie was a cancer survivor for 29 years, and her biggest joy in her life was her family. She found great joy in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by them all. Her never-ending faith in God was an inspiration to all of them. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Chuck and Howard; her sister, Kathleen (Kaiser) Haily; and one daughter, Kathleen. She leaves to mourn her death are her faithful husband of 55 years, Don; her sons, Joe (Marla) Hauck, Steve (Carletta) Hauck, Don Jr. (Lois) Hauck, and Chuck (Holly) Hauck; her son-in-law Robert Leidholdt; her brother, Jim (Leona) Kaiser; her brother-in-law, Jerry (Rolene) Hauck; one sister-in-law, Teresa Kaiser; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
