Born February 19, 1925 in Palestine, Indiana (Franklin County), she was the daughter of the late Harry & Elsie Catherine (Stenger) Geiling. On June 28, 1947 she was united in marriage to Ralph Singer, and he preceded her in death in 1998. Read More	Rosemary Singer, age 86, of Brookville, Indiana died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville, Indiana. Born February 19, 1925 in Palestine, Indiana (Franklin County), she was the daughter of the late Harry & Elsie Catherine (Stenger) Geiling. On June 28, 1947 she was united in marriage to Ralph Singer, and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella St. Catherine Circle #103 of Brookville, as well as the VFW Post #2014 Ladies Auxiliary. In her leisure time, Rosemary enjoyed reading, gardening, her pets, and especially loved taking care of her family. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen & Leonard Kolter, Mary & Terry Shepard, and Patty & Gordon Meyer all of Brookville, Indiana; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Doug & Julie Singer, Greg & Debra Singer and Jim (Wendi Ott) Singer, all of Brookville, Indiana; fourteen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Phyllis Bischoff of Cedar Grove, Indiana, Doris Bischoff of Blooming Grove, Indiana, Shirley Lynch of Brookville, Indiana and Lucille Rubush of Brookville, Indiana; a brother, Richard Geiling of Centerville, Indiana. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Herbert, Dale, Nick and Arthur Geiling. Family & friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. till 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville, where the Rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M.. Rev. C. Ryan McCarthy, pastor of St. Michael's Church, will officiate the Funeral Mass on Monday, February 6, 2012, 10:00 A.M., at St. Michael's Church with burial following in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Brookville. Memorial contributions may be directed to Franklin County Humane Society or the Brookville Public Library.
