Description	:	Daughter of James P and Caroline Denker Quinn in Douglas County on the farm East of Elkhorn. She attended and graduated from Elkhorn Public School, District 10. She went to Commercial Extension for three months but had to quit because of illness. She worked for Cornhusker Hybrid of Waterloo detasseling corn in Kearney, Nebraska because her father's job took the family there during the summer. She then went to work for Boys Town for a number of years. On May 23, 1952, she married Omar B Schwaninger at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska. He was serving in the Army and ten days following their marriage was deployed to Germany for 1 ½ years. After his return and discharge, they began farming near Bennington, Nebraska than moved to a farm near Ashland, Nebraska until Omar's death in 1966. Rosemary then began work in Ashland, Nebraska at the locker plant, sold Watkins Products and later worked at the Memphis Elevator as well as at Western Electric in Omaha. On February 3, 1973, she married Mervin H Drieling at St. John Lutheran Church in Yutan, Nebraska and lived on their farm in rural West Point until her death. Rosemary was a member of First Lutheran Church at Oakland. She enjoyed collecting John Deere memorabilia, bells, and plates. She especially loved spending time at the casino. Rosemary was preceded in death by her first husband, Omar, her father, her sister, Margie, infant Grandson, Nolan James; and, most recently by her husband, Mervin and her mother, Caroline Quinn. Survivors include stepsons Edward (Kathy) Drieling, Duane (Julie) Drieling, both of Oakland, Dennis John (Janet) Drieling of Fort Calhoun, and Burnell (Rita) Drieling of Emerson, step daughter Pat (Ron) Skwarek of Omaha, grandchildren Susan, Codi, Dennis John "DJ", Tom, Vincent, Ingrid, Valerie, Nate, Kayla, Chris, Adam and Abby and by 1 Great Grandson, Ethan. She was very proud to have and enjoy them all very much.
