Rosetta Hamilton Hall was born in Butler County, Ohio, Sept. 3, 1824. At the age of twelve she with her family moved to Berrien County, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Elijah Hall in the year of 1842. They continued to reside in Michigan until the year of 1881 when they moved to Poweshiek county, Iowa, where she resided up to the time of her death. She was the mother of 11 children,... Rosetta Hamilton Hall was born in Butler County, Ohio, Sept. 3, 1824. At the age of twelve she with her family moved to Berrien County, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Elijah Hall in the year of 1842. They continued to reside in Michigan until the year of 1881 when they moved to Poweshiek county, Iowa, where she resided up to the time of her death. She was the mother of 11 children, nine of whom are left to mourn the loss of a kind mother, two with her husband having preceeded to the great beyond. She was a member of the Brethren Church of which she was a devoted and faithful member. She was a great sufferer, having been afflicted with rheumatism for the last twenty years of her life and part of the time almost blind.
