Description	:	Rosina was the daughter of Franz and Anna (Brendlmair) Haigermoser. She married Joseph Benzkofer (son of Georg and Maria Baumgartner Benzkofer) on February 8, 1858 at St Joseph's Church in Milwaukee. March 14, 1907 - The funeral of Mrs. Frank Dangel, whose death on Tuesday evening of last week was briefly reported in the Times, occurred from SS. Peter and Paul's church Friday morning. The attendance of friends and neighbors was very large, for Mr. and Mrs. Dangel were among the pioneer residents of this county and were esteemed by everybody. The attendance of friends and neighbors was very large, for Mr. and Mrs. Dangel were among the pioneer residents of this county and were esteemed by everybody. Rosina Heigermoosen was born Feb. 18, 1828, at Huetting, K. Trostberg, kingdom of Bavaria, Germany. They came to America in 1857, to Milwaukee, Wis., where she was married to Jos. Benzkofer in 1857. Later they removed to the vicinity of Iowa Falls where her husband died in the latter sixties. She with her children came to Carroll County, Iowa, in 1870. She was married to Frank Dangel July 16, 1872, and to this union was born one son, Raymond Dangel, who with his father survives the beloved mother. There also survive the following children of her first marriage: Anna, Mrs. Joseph Fischer, Brunswick, Neb.; Joseph Benzkofer, Breda, Iowa; Johanna, Mrs. Raymond Dangel, Scotland, S.D., and Anton Benzkofer, Carroll Co., Ia. All members of the family were present at her death. She was a good faithful wife and mother, a devout member of the Roman Catholic church, and died well fortified with its consolations. With an implicit reliance in God's infinite mercy, she prepared for the journey hence, commending her soul to Him Who gave it. The hope to join her in a better world is the best consolation for those bereft and it is for such divine graces that friends supplicate the Eternal Father. May heavenly peace enter their hearts and cheer them in their sorrow. Carroll Times - August 22, 1907 - Mrs. Frank Dangel, born in Baveria 1828, died March 5, 1907 from stroke of paralysis at age of 77. Her aged husband and four children still live. She came to Carroll county in 1870.
