Mr Westcott was born at Creston, March 12, 1883 and resided here most of his life. He was married March 9, 1903 to Miss Mamie McCurdie (shd be McCurdy). To this union, two sons, Newell and Myron, were born. Mrs Westcott passed away in May 1910 (shd be May 1911). In October 1914, he married Miss Marie Haller and they established their home in Creston, living here until 1925 when they moved to Omaha. There, Mr Westcott continued the trade of barber, which he had followed in Creston and in which he engaged for 37 years. He was a member of the K.P.Lodge in Creston and the Methodist Church in Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of Omaha; two sons, Newell of Creston and Myron of Omaha. Grandson, Richard of Creston. Also, by three sisters, Mrs Bruce Webb and Mrs Hugh Warriner of Long Beach, CA and Mrs Maud Kemper of Newcastle.
