Description	:	CLEAR SPRING - Roy Allen Reid, age 57, of Clear Spring, Md., died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Washington County Hospital. Born March 24, 1951, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Paul Cyrus Reid and Mary Elizabeth Hart Reid. He was employed for over 30 years as a lieutenant with the Maryland Correctional Institute of Hagerstown. He was a 1969 graduate of Clear Spring High School. Read More	CLEAR SPRING - Roy Allen Reid, age 57, of Clear Spring, Md., died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Washington County Hospital. Born March 24, 1951, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Paul Cyrus Reid and Mary Elizabeth Hart Reid. He was employed for over 30 years as a lieutenant with the Maryland Correctional Institute of Hagerstown. He was a 1969 graduate of Clear Spring High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany, and a member of Joseph C. Herbert American Legion Post 222 of Clear Spring. He was also a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church of Clear Spring, the Clear Spring District Historical Society, the Williamsport Redmen, the North American Rod and Gun Club, the Antietam Junior Rifle Team and was a former director of the Washington County Ag Expo. He is survived by one daughter, Meghan N. Reid, and partner, Craig Bloodworth of York, United Kingdom; four sisters, Elizabeth Amelia Miles and late husband, John A. Miles Sr., Lolita Mae Divelbiss and late husband, Raymond D. Divelbiss Sr., both of Clear Spring, Roselyn Marie Welch and husband, R. Leon Welch, of Hagerstown, and Faye Louise Hose and husband, Charles L. Hose Sr., of Williamsport; two brothers, Maurice Leon Reid and wife, Gerry Gilman Reid, of Hagerstown, and Earl Bruce Reid and wife, Sue Keller Reid, of Sharpsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Leroy Reid, and is survived by his wife, Nancy Elaine Rohrer Reid of Clear Spring.
