Description	:	Roy C. Hickmon, son of Clen Ward and Carrie Luella Kinnamon Hickmon, was born February 10, 1903 at Arborville, Neb. He passed away at the York General Hospital August 26, 1966, at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 16 days. He attended the Fairmont school and lived here until after his marriage to Ida Mae McMahon, which took place June 6, 1923. To this union two children were born, Virginia and Roger. Hickmon, son of Clen Ward and Carrie Luella Kinnamon Hickmon, was born February 10, 1903 at Arborville, Neb. He passed away at the York General Hospital August 26, 1966, at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 16 days. He attended the Fairmont school and lived here until after his marriage to Ida Mae McMahon, which took place June 6, 1923. To this union two children were born, Virginia and Roger. Much of Roy's life was spent in maintenance work. He has lived in York for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, his wife June 1, 1964, one sister Hazel and one brother, Ralph, who lost his life in military service on Mindanao Island in the Philippines during World War II. The father passed away about three hours after Roy's death. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Willard (Virginia) Cudaback of Omaha, and a son, Roger of San Jose, Cal.; seven sisters, two brothers, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and by many nieces and nephews. A double funeral service for Roy and his father was conducted in the Fairmont Methodist church August 29 at 2 o'clock by Rev. Paul W. Walker.
