On February 14th 1927, he was united in marriage to Katherine Frances Padden of Fremont, Nebraska. To this union two children were born, Delores, 8; and Nellie, 2 years, 6 months. He left to mourn his passing his wife, two daughters, his father, Joseph Zabka, his stepmother, three brothers and two sisters, Elmer of Primrose, George of St. Edward, Charley of the home community, Mae of Albion and Alice of Genea. His mother and one brother preceded his in death.
