The Recorder January 9, 1986 Roy Siron, 84, of Altamonte Springs and formerly of Headwaters and McDowell, Va., died Monday, Jan. 6, in Orange Villa Retirement Home. Mr. Siron was born Feb. 19, 1901 at McDowell, a son of Henry H. and Nebraska Botkin Siron. His first wife, Bertie Kerlin Siron, died Dec. 15, 1969. His second wife, Mary Syvilla Siron, died in February 1980. Since 1980, he had been making his home with a stepdaughter, Mrs. Nellie Fender of Altamonte Springs. He is also survived by another stepdaughter, Mrs. Nola Frye of Hagerstown, Md.; two stepsons, John Peasant and Arlen Bryan Propst, both of Charles Town, W.Va.; a number of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A service is to be conducted Thursday, Jan. 9 from the chapel of Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell, by Dr. George Whipple, with burial in Headwaters Cemetery.
