The son of George Alexander and Ellen Porter, he was born February 16, 1879, in Missouri. He had been a resident of Ottumwa for more than 60 years. C.M. Belton of the Northside Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in McIntyre Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ralph Clark, Lawrence Mooney, J.F. Schall, Harve Hunt, Fred Hunt, and John Hunt.
