Born April 8, 1927, in Sharpsburg, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Thompson Lewis. She attended the Mt. Hermon Community Church, was a member of the Happy Knotters Quilters Club in Elliotts Crossroads and the Marion Rebekah Lodge in Chesterhill. She was a mental health counselor for the Athens Mental Health Center and the Washington D.C. Childrens Center for the Handicapped, where she retired from the federal government. She is survived by two sons, Jeffery (Kathy) Parsons of Chillicothe, Ohio, and David (Penny) Parsons of Jefferson, Md.; three daughters, Linda (Jim) Robertson of Louisburg, N.C., Robin McGhee of Annapolis, Md., and Susan Lewis of Bartlett, Ohio; one brother, Butch (Carol) Lewis of Chesterhill, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Rozella was preceded in death by her husbands, Gail Parsons and Frederick Wise; one daughter, Shirley Perine Smith; one granddaughter, Kimberly McGhee; a son-in-law, Jim McGhee; three brothers and one sister. Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. in Chesterhill at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
