She was a lifelong member of Westminster United Methodist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren and was a devoted wife. Survivors include two daughters, Lorene (Robert) Whitaker, of Lima, and Elaine (Ron) Coy, of Westminster; a brother, William (Joy) Stimmel, of Waynesfield; a sister, Patricia Conkle, of Westminster; seven grandchildren, Arnold (Kathy) Coy, of Waynesfield, Annette (Mark) Coy Sterling and Aaron Coy, both of Westminster, Robert Whitaker II, Cheryl (Adam) Brayton and Deven (Jackie) Whitaker, all of Lima, and Christine (Matt) Warneckie, of Westminster; and 13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil B., Roger M. and Herbert R. Stimmel; and two sisters, Farrel J. Guinn and Rowena E. Stimmel. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Eastside Chapel. The Rev. Dave Burkhart will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chapel Fund at Lost Creek Care Center or Westminster U.M.C. Building Fund.
