Ruben was born on March 19, 1921, at the family farm, to Solomon and Karolina Sayler. While in the Air Force in France, he met and fell in love with Odette Seguin, who became his bride on June 27, 1945, in Ableiges, France. Ruben was born on March 19, 1921, at the family farm, to Solomon and Karolina Sayler. While in the Air Force in France, he met and fell in love with Odette Seguin, who became his bride on June 27, 1945, in Ableiges, France. Ruben served his country in the Air Force as a tech sergeant and crew chief for 32 men and maintained over 100 bombers and other military aircraft. He was honorably discharged in 1946. He was a lifelong member of the VFW and American Legion. Ruben loved helping others, donating countless hours of his mechanical and carpenter skills to friends and family. He enjoyed building model airplanes and farm machinery to scale. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening and talking about old days on the farm. Ruben worked for the N.P. Transport for 22 years and for Billings City for 10 years. He is survived by his wife; their 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 brother and 4 sisters. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Big Sky Hospice for their loving care and support. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Little Flower Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. ==============================
