She was born October 20, 1918, at Custer, Montana, Yellowstone County, to Ethel Frances (Versland) and Addison A. Cubbison. Ruby married Selmer Raisland July 31, 1937. She has lived in and around Big Timber the majority of her life. They raised four children. She is survived by her husband, four children, and eight grandchildren. She was born October 20, 1918, at Custer, Montana, Yellowstone County, to Ethel Frances (Versland) and Addison A. Cubbison. Ruby married Selmer Raisland July 31, 1937. She has lived in and around Big Timber the majority of her life. They raised four children. She is survived by her husband, four children, and eight grandchildren. They are; daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Adrian Elgen, and three children of Big Timber; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Linda Raisland and two girls of Judith Gap; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bob Davis and two children; and son and daughter-in-law Rusty and Teresa Raisland and daughter of Townsend. Also, surviving are three sisters; Opal Elgen of Bozemanmm Mildred Grande of Grey Cliff, and Inga Rodden of Canby, OR: and one brother, Elzie Cubbison of Great Falls.. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, friends, camping, and several handicrafts. She was a long-time member of Royal Neighbors, and a past member of the Women of the Moose. She and Selmer attended the EUB Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 1, 1987, at Lowry Funeral Home with the Rev. Werner Seibert of the Evangelical Church officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery. Casket bearers were Olav Stenberg, George Hegdal Helmar Branae, Ray Kraft, Darrel Elgen, and Roger Davis. Honorary bearers were all of her friends. Soloist-organist was Debbie Seibert.
