Born Nov 29, 1914, in Anderson, she was a graduate of Hanna High School. She lived in Winston-Salem for 59 years and worked at the City Hospital and later Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, where she was a choir member over 4 years. After returning to Anderson, she was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Lola Mae Langford, of Travelers Rest. She was the daughter of the late J Clarence and Cora Palmer Bolt. She was preceded by four brothers, Alvin L, J Oscar, Lee K and C Wilton Bolt; and four sisters, Ruth B Hampton, Mary B Cassidy, Eunice B Addis and Dorothy B Mengel. Services are at 11 AM Tuesday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Downtown Chapel, by the Rev Tom Turner. Burial will be in New Prospect Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM at the downtown chapel. Family members are at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, or New Prospect Baptist Church, Anderson. Published in The Anderson Independent-Mail, Anderson, SC.
