She was born April 24, 1924 to Hans and Malena Undheim-Herigstad Aarestad in New Norway, Alberta, Canada. She received her education at Semiamhoo High School in White Rock, B.C. Canada. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship-worldwide attending services in designated homes. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James Streber of Grandview, WA, two daughters, Judy Cervantes and husband, Ed of Mabton, WA and Carmen Streber and husband, Ralph Janshen of Grandview, WA, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Aarestad of Moses Lake, WA and one brother, Ken Aarestad of Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Ruby Michelle, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.
