Lipscomb and Ruby McCulloch Lipscomb. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and attended Limestone College. Mrs. Humphries retired from Limestone Concrete and Pipe Company and was co/owner of Humphries Septic Tank Service. Mrs. Humphries was a member of Grassy Pond Baptist Church. ~ Surviving are a daughter, Donna Hammett and husband, Richard of Columbia, and son, Randy Wallace Humphries and wife, Sally of Grovetown, Georgia; a brother, Louie Lipscomb of Gaffney; three sisters, Rae Lipscomb of Gaffney, May Ella Blanton of Gaffney, and Jane Leazer of Rock Hill. The joy of her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving grandchildren are Brandon Wallace McCulloch Hammett and his wife, Shanda of Fort Mill; Emily Kristin Hammett Herbig and husband, Jeff of Columbia; Randy Wallace Humphries Jr. of Grovetown, Georgia and Sarah Amanda Hellyer and husband, Jonathan of Grovetown, Georgia. Great-grandchildren include Meagan Hellyer, Jeffrey Thomas Herbig, Jr., Paden Elizabeth Herbig, and Asher Humphries. ~ She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Humphries was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. ~ The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Grassy Pond Baptist Church. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the church with Reverend Martin Hogg and Dr. Wil Owens and officiating.
