Description	:	Minden resident Ruby G. (Hendricks) Nelson, 92, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Services were held on Monday at the United Methodist Church in Minden with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hunter officiating. Mrs. Nelson was born March 2, 1908, to Samuel and Edith (Hall) Hendricks in Sargent. At a young age, she moved to Upland and graduated from Upland High School in 1926. On June 21, 1926, she married Lester Nelson. They farmed for 18 years in the Minden area. Survivors are two daughters, Carol Wright of Minden and Jackie Meester of Kearney; one brother, Donald of Denver; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
