Description	:	Ruby Hammond Adams Fischer, daughter of Earl and Lyda Mahan Hammond, was born August 26, 1912 on a farm in Union Township west of Belleville. She died, December 5 at the Belleville Health Care Center at the age of 89 years. She attended Rural school No. 9 and Union Valley rural schools before graduating from Scandia High School in 1932. She was a member of the Belleville Christian Church and the Mainspoke E.H.U. for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Gale and Van and her sisters, Hazel Smith and Dorothy Jane Lowery. She is survived by her husband, step son, Donald Fischer, Wichita; son, Lloyd L. Adams, Palm Bay, FL; one step-grandson and two sisters, Doris Stewart and Velma Colbeck, Stockton, CA. Graveside memorial services and inurnment was held, December 11 at Ida Cemetery, Munden.
