Mrs. Lueders died Thursday, Nov. 23,2000, at Alverno Healthcare Facility. Ruby Naeve was born Feb. 13, 1907 in Schleswig, Iowa, to John and Christine (Jensen) Naeve. She married Henry "Heinie" Lueders on Feb. 6, 1929, in Clinton. He died in 1986. She worked for the Burpee Seed Co. and was best known for her generous volunteer work. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she served on the Naomi Circle and was a deaconess of the church. She was past president of the Ladies Aid. She was a grandmother to all her neighborhood children, who will always remember her frog hunts, yard circus and go-cart rides. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton High School wrestling program and Northeast High School wrestling program. Survivors includeher grandchildren, Jeff Lueders, Clitnon, Kristy Schneeberger, Clinton, Kelly Hummel, Davenport, J.D.Lueders, Bryant, and Kasey Jennings, Taiwan; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, coach Robert Lueders in 1996; a great-grandson, and two sisters. Pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren, Kellen, Karly, Marcus and Dylan Schneeberger, Savannah Hummel, Eric, Jared, Cole, Lars, Spencer and Chelsy Lueder.
