Description	:	Ruby Semans Funeral services for Ruby Semans, 84, of Creighton, were held Monday, November 4, 1996, at 10:30 a.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton. Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton. Reverend Kenneth Purscell officiated. The pianist was Margaret Sorensen and the vocalists were the U.C.C and U.M.C. Choirs. Hymns sung were In The Garden and Amazing Grace. Ruby (Jacobsen) Semans was born September 30, 1912. at Winnetoon to Peter and Stena (Sonder) Jacobsen. They lived in Ogallala for many years. She graduated from Kearney State College in 1972. After her retirement from teaching she helped her husband in his carpet business. In 1987 they retired and moved to Creighton. She died October 30. 1996. at the Creighton Care Centre at the age of eighty four years and one month. Survivors include her sister, Gladys Jacobsen, of Creighton, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1995.
