Description	:	Ruby M. daughter of Dora and Emery Green, was born July 1, 1898 in Lincoln township and died December 5, 1956 at the Myrtue Memorial hospital in Harlan, at the age of 58 years, 5 months and 4 days. She attended rural schools in Cass township and later high school in Tennant. She quit school to help her mother on a farm. She became a charter member of the Pioneer Country club. She married Johnnie Christensen on April 10, 1926. To this union one daughter, Jo Ann was born. After the death of her husband, as a result of a harvesting accident in 1927 she and her daughter went to live with her parents until the death of her father in 1946 when they moved to Harlan. After the death of her mother, her daughter and family moved in with her. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge for 29 years. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs Robert W. Sorensen; two grandsons, three brothers and three sisters. Services were held at Pauley Funeral home, Saturday December 8, 1956 with Rev. Lawrence Beals of the Methodist church and Rev. Lyle Paulsen of the Lutheran church officiating. Memorial services were conducted at the funeral home by Rebekah Lodge. Burial was in the Harlan Cemetery.
