She attended school in a one-room schoolhouse, and graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1942. She studied at the University of Northern Colorado, graduating in 1961. Mrs. Frank moved to Crook in 1944 and taught school there. The following year she taught in Wheatland, Wyo. She married Joseph M. Frank Jr. Aug. 19, 1946, at St. Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. They lived in Denver two years before moving back to Crook, then to Sterling. After working for the Re-1 Valley School District 29 years, Mrs. Frank retired in 1986.She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Theta Chapter, the National Education Association and St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She is survived by her mother, Mary; Sons Bill, Bob, Don and Tom Frank, all of Sterling; daughters Mary Hall of San Bruno, Calif., and Linda Woehrman of San Jose, Calif.; brothers Harold Welborn of Goldbeach, Ore., and Gerald Welborn of Omaha; sister Lucille Callahan of Arvada; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. Memorials can be made to St. Anthony's School Fund. Tennant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
