Paul Frank celebrating. Interment will follow at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Willard, Colorado. Bob was born on September 7, 1949 in Sterling to Joseph Martin and Ruby Marie (Welborn) Frank. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1967 and from Colorado State University in 1972 with a Bachelors in Vocational Agriculture. He worked for Curtiss Breeding Service in Denver for 5 years. He was then self employed as a cattle processor for 35 years until his retirement. He married Virginia Berkey on June 26, 1971 in Sterling. They were married for 43 years. Bob enjoyed dancing, singing, fishing in the mountains, camping, telling stories, and making people laugh. He was a loving, caring father and husband, and his new granddaughter Caroline was the "apple of his eye". Bob is survived by his wife Virginia; daughter Kristin Frank of Westminster; son David Frank and wife Micah of Riverton, WY; granddaughter Caroline Frank; brothers Bill and wife Bonnie of Sterling and Don and wife Terrie of Peetz; sisters Mary Hall and husband Dean of Montrose and Linda Woehrman of Colorado Springs; sisters-in-law Janice Frank-Tappy of Sterling and Evelyn Davidson of Ft. Collins; brother-in-law Rex Berkey and wife Norine of Golden, CO; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruby Frank and a brother, Tom Frank. Memorials may be made to the Robert Frank Memorial Fund c/o Tennant Funeral Home, PO Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751.
