She passed away on April 18, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Center in Superior, NE at the age of 96 years and 20 days. She was one of 9 children. On August 21, 1929, she was united in marriage to Leonard Ebsen at the Presbyterian Church, Superior, NE. This union was blessed with a son, Eulin. Ruby was a member of Salem Lutheran Church being active in the Ladies church group and was a past member of the rebekah Lodge. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Leonard on April 25, 1994, four brothers, Leonard, Arthur, Melvin and Gerald and two sisters, Katherine and Opal. Survivors include her son, Eulin and wife Betty of Superior, NE; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sisters, Zella Moody of Bellflower, CA; Hazel Stone of Cherokee, KS; and sister-in-laws, Erma Good of Wichita, KS; and Mabel Davis of Superior, NE; nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at 10:30 AM from Salem Lutheran Church, rural Superior, NE with Pastor Dan Hays officiating and Betty McKevitt as organist. Pallbearers were Dale Frahm, Charles Stiles, Harold Wilton, Vaden Kramer, Calvin Hayes and Conley Cleveland. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.
