Ruby was a homemaker and a truck driver in the timber industry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Robert C. Ray and Floyd "Buddy" Thompson,Sr.; her stepdaughter, Juanita Thompson; her stepson, Floyd Thompson, Jr., five brothers, Floyd Soileau, J.P. Soileau, Leo Danny Soileau, Gene Soileau, and E.J. Soileau and one sister, Evelyn Soileau. She is survived by one daughter, thirteen stepchildren, one brother and three sisters, four grandchildren, ninteen step granchildren, twelve step great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Visitation is 11:00 until time of services Saturday, December 1, 2012.
