Description	:	60y 1m 14d -------- RUFE WILKERSON DIES SUDDENLY Rufus Wilkerson, veteran Missouri Pacific engineer, died at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon after a brief illness of about a week. Death was due to uremic poisoning. Mr. Wilkerson came in from his regular run several days ago suffering from what quickly proved to be an advanced stage of kidney infection. He was 60 years old and is survived by a widow and six children: Delbert Wilkerson, Chas. Wilkerson, Mrs. Ray Williams, Roy Wilkerson, Mrs. Elsie Currey and Orilla Wilkerson. He was 60 years old and is survived by a widow and six children: Delbert Wilkerson, Chas. Wilkerson, Mrs. Ray Williams, Roy Wilkerson, Mrs. Elsie Currey and Orilla Wilkerson. Mr. Wilkerson had been in the employ of the Missouri Pacific since 1898.. He has been an engineer for 33 years, more than 15 of which had been spent in piloting the railroad's passengers over this division. He stood high in the regard of company official and his counsel was equally respected among his fellow employees. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Engineers and represented that organization for four years as chairman of the grievance committee. In 1925 he was a representative to the national brotherhood gathering in Cleveland. Funeral arrangements will be delayed pending word from relatives.
