(published in The Lima News, Thursday, October 18, 1923, page 1) -------------------------------------------- Russell Loescher, 15, son of William Loescher, well known gardener of Bath-tp, died Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at City hospital from injuries sustained Wednesday afternoon when he fell out of a tree at the Sulphur Spring school, where he was a student. He never regained consciousness. Death was due to concussion of the brain. Surviving besides the parents are four sisters, Mrs. Ida Richman and Mrs. Isabel Miller, of Lima, Mrs. Minnie Fell of Columbus and Edna Loescher, at home; also four brothers, Dewey, William, Clarence and Harold, all residing at home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Rev. F. W. Rohlfing will officiate. Interment in Woodlawn. F. W. Rohlfing. Interment in Woodlawn. The lad died Thursday night at City hospital from injuries he received the previous day when he fell out of a tree at the Sulphur Spring school in Bath-tp.
