Description	:	Milford Russell Downing, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Downing, was born at Nora, Nebraska, July 16, 1907; died February 11, 1921, at Boulder, Colo., age 13 years, 7 months and 25 days. He went to Boulder in March 1919, with his parents. He was one of the cheerful sunny-faced lads who was always a delight to meet. His death came as a terrible shock to all who knew him. Read More	Milford Russell Downing, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Downing, was born at Nora, Nebraska, July 16, 1907; died February 11, 1921, at Boulder, Colo., age 13 years, 7 months and 25 days. He went to Boulder in March 1919, with his parents. He was one of the cheerful sunny-faced lads who was always a delight to meet. His death came as a terrible shock to all who knew him. He was a faithful member of his Sunday school class and all the boys have a good word for him, as do his teachers in both Sunday school and the grade school. His very ambition to be doing something helpful and useful was manifest in that in the discharge of his duty he was killed. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Downing, one brother Lloyd, and a half sister, Mrs. Eva Rippeteau of Clay Center, Nebr. He will be missed in all the activities of the Sunday school, grade school and the community life. The body was brought to Nora and on Tuesday afternoon the funeral service was held at the Christian church conducted by Rev. F.E. Day assisted by V.E. Shirley.
