He was 69. Mr. Turner was born January 25, 1930 in Ramsay Township to parents James and Margaret. He was educated in Ramsay, and married Mary Jane Poole on August 16, 1951 in Almonte. Mr. Turner was a farmer as well as a school bus driver for 20 years. He was past master of Mississippi Lodge No. 147. He is survived by his wife Mary and his daughter Lana (Keith McDonald) of Lunenburg, Ont. The funeral took place in the chapel at Kerry Funeral Home March 15, 1999 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Robert Davis presiding. There will be a spring burial at the Auld Kirk Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dennis Villeneuve, Stuart Lackey, Keith Drynan, Jeff Robertson, Leo Dryburgh and Barry Burchill.
