Born on October 2, 1941 in Hicksville, Russell was the son of the late Paul and Zola (Hook) Camp. On October 1, 1960, Russell was united in marriage to Wilma Kryder and she preceded him in death on December 24, 1998. Russell was a 1959 graduate of Hicksville High School. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Camp; a brother Gerald “Beefy” Camp; and a sister, Dorinda Scott. Funeral services for Russell will be Tuesday at 11:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, with Pastor Jerold Tear officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.
