Van Buskirk-Dunn.--Married at the residence of the bride's parents, Harrisville, Mich., Sunday, June 30, 1895, Mr. Stewart Van Buskirk to Miss Ruth A. Dunn, the Rev. W. J. Bailey officiating. This happy event was consummated at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the presence of but a few invited guests besides the immediate relatives. Mr. John Macgregor was best man and the bride was sustained by her particular friend, Miss Effie? Graham of Tawas city. At the conclusion of the marriage ceremony the guests were invited to discuss an elaborate meal, but they did not omit bestowing their warmest congratulations upon Mr. and Mrs. Van Buskirk. The groom is one of Harrisville's rising young business men. Although born in Genessee county he has lived in Alcona county practically all his life and as a boy and man has made many warm friends, who will unite with the Review in wishing him health, wealth and happiness in this new relation in life. His bride was also raised in the county and is too well known to require an introduction. She is a general favorite and her bright and sunny disposition makes friends for her wherever she goes. She is a graduate of the Harrisville public schools, coming out with the class of '90. Since then she has taught several terms of school with signal success, both in Alcona county and at Tawas, where she has been for the past year. Mr. and Mrs. Van Buskirk, we are pleased to state, will make their home in Harrisville, and will be at home to their friends after July 20th.
