Villisca Review, Thursday, April 15, 1903, page 4 Grandma Daft, of whom mention was made last week, died last Thursday morning, April 16, 1903 at 10:35 at the home of her son, Edgar W., north of Grant. Rev. Caldwell of Grant conducted the funeral services at the M. E. Church of that place at 11 a.m., Friday. She lived to be 81 years, 8 months, and 10 days old and was widely known as was indicated by the friends who followed the remains to their resting place, in the community where she lived, having lived there since 1858. She is known by a few of the Review readers of this vicinity as she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Ellenwood, nine or ten years ago.
