Description	:	Funeral Rites Sunday for Young Mother Funeral services were held Sunday, May 15, at Walnut Lutheran Church for Mrs. Walter Oltjenbruns of near Walnut, who passed away May 17 following a brief serious illness. The Rev. E. H. Quast officiated. Pallbearers were neighbors. Interment was in Enterprise Cemetery. Mrs. Oltjenbruns, who was only 29 years of age at the time of her death, was the mother of five children, ranging in ages from 11 years to 13 months. Ruth Bernita Hansen was born Jan. 23, 1917 at Dixon, Nebr. to Emil and Anna Hansen. As a small child, she moved with the family to Creighton, where she grew to young womanhood. She attended Creighton Public School. Nov. 1, 1933, she was united in marriage to Walter Oltjenbruns at Yankton, S.D.. They resided on a farm near Osmond for eight years. For the past four years they were on a farm near Walnut. She was confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Osmond by Rev. Holstein. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Walter; children, Hubert, Roland, Byron, Bernita and Kenneth; her father, Emil Hansen; four brothers and sisters, Marie Withee and Gerald Hansen of Creighton, Merton Hansen of Holister, Calif. and Anna Mae Mitchell of Orchard.
